I was skeptical about 1000 for a long time. Even with the ratings, or people commenting about it in other threads and TV Tropes and whatnot. It just felt… erh. I mean, Bigfoot? Really?
I finally read it. It has a slow start and, frankly, the anomalous "sightkill" effect is one steamy pile of bullshit… which actually is part of the point. The extra document is the point of the SCP, which I'm afraid actually is not what I'd consider an excellent SCP practice, but… all things considered, it's very good. It took me in an emotional rollercoaster there, that's amazing. Especially the whole misinformation cover-up operation. It's ingenious.
So, a very late bravo.
And yes, please let them back in. That was right in my feels. :[
