I'm a little confused by this:
"… has a minimum 2% chance of being instantly killed through anomalous means…. the longer a human views SCP-1000, the higher the chance of instantaneous death increases, at a rate of +1% chance per 20 minutes of viewing…"
How frequently is this chance applied? How often are the dice rolled, so to speak? Do you have a 2%+ chance to instantly die upon first sight, and then if you don't you're fine until 20 minutes pass, at which point you may or may not die again, etc.? Or is it a 2%+ chance every second/minute/?? you're looking at one of these things? Does the chance stick around, or do you top being in danger once you look away?
Side note: I can't even imagine the amount of testing and data that would have been required to discover this pattern!
