I just want to let the record show that I still haven't forgiven you for beating me in the SCP-1000 contest. I was reading Roget's (totally awesome) History of the Universe saga and it reminded me of that. 46 to 39. Seven measily upvotes. Jerk.
Seriously though, just reread this and it still holds up well. It was SCPs like these that I think really set the stage for the modern SCP, those with a real history and story behind them instead of just a scary object. Nice work man.
