Hey what about the Descensus civilization (SCP-1348, SCP-1427)? They are immensely similar in concept to SCP-1000, being a humanlike pre-human civilization who were destroyed by humanity with the help of a rogue god (in the case of the Descensi, it was the Elohim god Yehom).
I asked author Ophite about the connection. He said this:
"My weakly-thought-out headcanon is that the war between Bigfoot and Decensus happened relatively early on in Decensus history. Before that, there wasn't much contact between the two species: Bigfoot mostly kept to boreal forests in North America, Europe, and Asia, whereas human and near-human populations were largely in North and East Africa."
Idk how much the timelines line up since the Day of Flowers happened 10-15000 years ago while the Descensus civilization was mostly wiped out some 70-77000 years ago. Except the Bloom seems to rewrite time and everything. I don't even know. The Descensus were created some 2 million years ago yet had some technology from 12 million years ago. Maybe this whole Bloom thing happened a bunch of times, who knows?
